I will incline mine ear to the parable, and shew my dark speech upon the harpfrom Psalm 49
Thank you for remembering this -- your Columbus Day, our Thanksgiving Day. But ours has nothing to do with any pilgrims, Spanish, or Italian, or English. It celebrates the end of the harvest, which of course takes place earlier because we are in the North. The menus are pretty well much the same, except for the green-beans-with-onion-rings dish that I've seen on the tables of my New England in-laws.~ Maria Horvath (I now live with my American husband in New England and therefore get to celebrate two Thanksgiving Days.)
hello Maria --I've fortunately not seen the onion rings at my relatives' houses, but have of course seen green beans. Enjoy both your Thanksgivings!
